First Lost Tooth

Madison has lost her first tooth! While at Nanny and Pop Pop's her tooth was really loose and Pop Pop tried to get it out with string but it was still stuck just a little. Then Nanny tried it with dental floss and it came right out! She was super excited especially when the Tooth Fairy (and the Nanny Fairy) came and brought her $13 for that tooth! I just love her precious little grin!

Going Green

Okay so it is a little late, but I wanted to show you what we did for St. Patrick's Day. This is a tradition that we started last year and the girls loved it so much that we decided to continue it every year. For dinner we had steak (it was some leftover that we had that we wanted to use, not green but yummy!) green beans, salad with green ranch dressing, green mashed potatoes, and bread with green butter. It was a great dinner!
We usually have mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert but since we had gone to nubi after lunch we were a little tired of ice cream. Luckily, Grandma Harris had made these cookies for the kids and they made the perfect dessert without any work for me!
I bought hats at Target in the dollar section and even made Neil wear one!
The girls and I had a lot of fun and we ended the night watching the story of St. Patrick as told by Lufi and his flannelgraph in Veggie Tales!

Check out Paper Craft Planet

I don't know if you all are on facebook or not, I have chosen not to be (lack of extra time!). But a couple of months ago I found out about a site called Paper Craft Planet. Here is the link to my page http://www.papercraftplanet.com/profile/ChristyHarris on there I have pictures of lot of my scrapbook pages. So if you want to see any of my work, that is the place to check it out!

Cards For Heroes

On Friday night we had a card making event to benefit the Cards for Heroes organization. They accept cards and then send them to armed forces units all over the world. So that they can send a special note home to friends and family.
We had a great time talking and helping each other create great cards.
A hand written letter is a very special thing to get in the mail from someone that you love that is so far away, and it is even better when it comes in a card that was hand made by someone who cares.
We had 13 people come to help us which was a great turnout!
Everyone did a great job and we made lots of cards! If you would like more information on the cards for heroes organization go to http://www.CARDSFORHEROES.org

Guess What!?

I am going to be featured as a guest designer on the Making Memories blog! I don't know quite when yet, but as soon as I know this is where you will find the link. I am really excited since I am such a huge fan of Making Memories products, especially the slice (as you all know already!).

On Sunday, we decided to go for a walk and loaded the boys into the stroller and we walked around our big block and stopped at the baseball field. Neil ran around with the girls and Gabriel tried to run too. Zach for some reason even though he had shoes on wouldn't move because he was on the grass. He just stood exactly where I had set him and put his arms up and whined so that I would pick him up! While I was holding him and taking pictures I got this shot of the two of us.

And I am already not looking forward to the day that we have to bring a drum set into our house! The boys love banging on the drums and the girls in the High School youth group (here it is Brianna) love taking them onto the stage to touch the guitars and hit the drums and make lots of noise! I can hear the banging now!

The Best Picture of All

I couldn't believe it when I was crouched down and I suddenly saw through the lense a perfect profile of Zachary and Gabriel was in the background. Luckily, I had my camera on the AV mode and that is what made Gabriel blurry. This picture just makes me smile!
Here it is! I gave you a sneak peek at the things I had made with the cricut and the Hello Kitty cartridge, well this is what I made on Wednesday. On Thursday I took the pictures of the girls with their Hello Kitty rain boots on and I made the page really quickly. You can't see very well but there are rinestones on the corners of the pictures and there is one as the dot on the eye and one on the top of Hello Kitty's umbrella. I used my favorite border punch the Fiskars Threading Water punch on the top and bottom of the white cardstock. Other than that the page was done since I had made the rainbow and Kitty with the cricut. Oh yeah, the diagonal strip paper is from the dollar section at Target!

More Great Pictures

I love this one of Zachary that I took not even looking through the lense. I just held it down and pointed it toward him. I love it when things like that work out!
Kaley helping Zachary go down the slide.
Madison was having so much fun taking Gabriel down the slide, you can really see it on her face.
Zachary looks so grown up in this picture! I know, I got more great pictures of Zach than I did of Gabriel but Zachary stays still for a moment here and there, Gabriel never stops moving!

Some of the Great Pictures

On Friday I took some amazing pictures of the kids. I had a lot of fun snapping away while they played. I love that Gabriel's tongue is hanging out to the side! He looks just like his Daddy.
My other very handsome boy. Zachary was really attached to this red spiky ball.
Madison with her new haircut. It is really nice to be able to see her face!
I could not believe how great this picture is! I took it just to make her happy since she was posing with Zachary who I was trying to get a picture of. It wasn't until I got home and uploaded the pictures and I zoomed in on her face that I saw how gorgeous she is. Is she four or fourteen?
